SCORPION DESIGN FIRM

Kassidy Searles was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She studied at the University of Houston to receive her bachelor’s in Interior Architecture and minor in Business Administration. However, her journey to Interior Design was very unconventional and started way before her degree. She started by working closely with the real estate industry. During her time working in real estate, Kassidy flipped and staged homes. Additionally, during this time, Kassidy found a passion for photography, and honed in on this talent, and photographed her work. Now, she is among the very few designers who design and photograph their own work.

Once she got her first internship at a Designer Furniture Store, her foot in the fashion industry has grown exponentially. She gained further experience by staging furniture stores and helping clients locate unique furniture for their residences. Not too long after, Kassidy began working in the customs department. She began seamstery and started her very own pillow collection. Scorpion Design Firm was created to offer full-scale exclusive custom services. Kass has continued her passion for designing and has now opened this exclusive firm to atone for her client’s every need. As she continues to follow her passion for design she has collaborated with other small businesses. This is just another reason why her firm sets itself apart from others. She continues to follow her passion for helping others, by assisting them in creating beautiful sanctuaries for them to call their own.
